In less than a year's time, FIFA, the governing body of global soccer, will announce the locations for the 2018 and 2022 World Cup tournaments. This blog will follow the global bidding process for the right to host the World Cup finals, including the efforts of American soccer officials to bring the event back to our shores for the first time since 1994.
